Motivation?
In ancient Sanatana Dharmic culture, life revolved around self-sustaining local ecosystems. Communities worked for their local villages and taluks, ensuring that skills, goods, and livelihoods were sourced entirely from within. While the concept of supporting small, local businesses is thriving globally today, this decentralized model was perfected on the जम्बु द्बिपॆ (Asian continent) aeons ago.
History: Navigating Mughal Invasion and colonization
Over centuries, mughal invaders and colonial entities—including the British, French, Dutch, and Portuguese East India Companies—introduced systems that fundamentally altered this local landscape.
The initial era of Mughal invasion displaced local populations and destroyed sacred institutions, including temples, scriptures, and gurukulams. The colonization era redirected labor to serve distant imperial interests. The self-confidence and morale of local populations were destroyed because of these reasons leaving many ancient art forms, from architecture to intricate embroidery, on the brink of extinction. It severely fractured the traditional guru-parampara system—a generational lineage where families/gurus passed skilled work down through families. For centuries, this system had guaranteed job and food security for sculptors, priests, weavers, artisans, martial artists and so on. The system was based on skilled trades promoting peace and prosperity.

Sanatana Dharma has contributed to some of the greatest art, science, engineering and many other forms of the world. One of the Veda systems from Sanatana Dharma - RigVeda predates all known civilizations. Vedas were transmitted using the guru-shisya paramaparam and in Sanskrit or Panini languages making Sanskrit, one of the oldest in the universe. see RigVeda
Sanatana Dharmic Influences in Modern World
Sanskrit is the most used and one of the oldest languages (24,000 BCE) of the Sanatana Dharmic culture and the world. Vedas were transmitted in Sanskrit or Panini making the language one of the oldest in the world. see RigVeda
"Shava shunya" शवशून्य refering to a profound meditative state of total physical, mental, and egoic dissolution or nothingness where the practitioner transcends all worldly identification. Aryabhatta and Brahmagupta later, the sanatana dharmists used this symbolic representation to invent '0' to help innovate the world towards anything from nothing(no pun intended) in the modern world (computers, finance and so on)
Future: A Journey of Continuity, Resilience and Revival
While looking back at history reveals deep structural disruptions in the the entire Asian continent (China, India, Pakistan, SriLanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Tibet, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, etc), it also showcases the resilience of the people of Asian continent and our goal is entirely focused on continuity, resilience and revival. We refer to Asian contient, because in the teachings of our gurus while performing a yajna - it starts with जम्बु द्बिपॆ (Jambu Dweepa) which covers parts of the Asian continent comprising of the countries mentioned above. We are actively rebuilding the guru-parampara tradition through both small and large-scale grassroots efforts. This website is one of those humble endeavors.

The ancient Sanskrit phrase Atithi Devo Bhava—the guest is equivalent to God—still holds true in our hearts.
